General Terms and Conditions

Object :
These general conditions of sale are intended for the use of booking stays in guest rooms at Villa Galabé and Tafia. They constitute the reservation contract between the operator and the customer. Acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are acquired upon payment of the deposit.


Length of stay :
This contract, accepted by the customer, is concluded for a period determined at the time of booking. The customer cannot under any circumstances claim any right to remain in the premises.


Prices :
The following rates are the only contractual rates : €95 per night and per room, breakfast included. Optional : dinner (€35 per person, from 3 people), charcuterie/cheese/raw vegetables board (€17.50 per person). They are all taxes included, per room and per night, for the number of people and for the dates chosen. The supply of household linen is included in the price. Dinner and board are optional. The tourist tax will be indicated in addition when the balance is billed.


All reservations are accompanied by written confirmation made to the customer (email or post) and payment by transfer of a deposit of 50% of the total amount of the stay, with a minimum of one night per room reserved. Deposits are deductible from the total bill on the day of departure. They must be paid no later than 7 days from the date of the reservation request. The reservation is recorded and confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. Payment of the deposit implies acceptance of these general conditions of sale.
For specific stays, the 50% balance can be claimed no later than 10 days before the start of the stay. The customer who has not paid the balance on the agreed date is considered to have canceled his stay. From then on, the service is once again offered for rental and no refund will be made. In the event of a reservation within 7 days preceding the stay, full payment will be required upon reservation, by transfer.


Payment terms :
Payment in cash, by bank transfer (ISABELLE ET PATRICK DUJEUX - FR76 4061 8803 6600 0402 8340 859 – BOUS FRPP XXX, transfer costs the sole responsibility of the ordering party) or Paypal (PayPal.Me/villagalabeettafia)

The balance of the stay as well as additional services must be paid on the day of departure in cash, Paypal (PayPal.Me/villagalabeettafia) or contactless credit card (up to the limit accepted by your bank)


Tourist tax:
The tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the operator who then pays it to the Intermunicipal Community of Northern Reunion (CINOR)


Modification and cancellation of the reservation :
Any modification and partial or total cancellation of a reservation by the customer must be the subject of a written request either by email or by post ; it will only be effective when the operator has confirmed its acceptance.
If the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the arrival date, the amount paid when booking will be fully refunded.
Any cancellation less than 30 days from the start date of the stay results in the retention of the deposit and does not give rise to any compensation.
In the event of no-show or early departure, the customer will have to pay the full amount of the stay.
If before the start of the stay the operator finds himself obliged to cancel the reservation, he must inform his client who will be reimbursed immediately for the sums already paid.


Arrival and departure times :
Reception and room availability times are from 3 p.m. The operator must be informed of a late or delayed arrival. On the day of departure, guests must vacate the rooms before 10 a.m.


Change of room :
Without the customer being able to claim any compensation, the operator reserves the right to change the room initially reserved for a room of the same capacity. In such a case, the cost of the reservation remains unchanged.


Ability :
This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the operator has the right to refuse additional customers. The operator regrets not being able to accommodate children in its establishment. No baby cots or extra beds can be installed in the rooms.


Restoration :

The evening meal, for a minimum of 3 people, upon prior reservation 48 hours in advance and depending on the operator's availability, is a service reserved for residents. This optional service is served, from 7 p.m., under the veranda. The menu consists of an aperitif and appetizers, a starter, a main course with accompaniment and a dessert. The entire meal is accompanied by wine, mineral water, coffee or infusion; It is recalled that alcohol abuse is seriously harmful to health.
A charcuterie/cheese/drink board can also be offered, for €17,50 per person, upon prior reservation 48 hours in advance.

Breakfast is offered on the veranda, from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. It consists of fresh fruit juice, bread, pancakes, fruit salad, homemade yogurt, homemade jams, and of a hot drink.


Use of the premises :
The customer undertakes to respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. No meals can be taken in the rooms. All indoor facilities are non-smoking; only outdoor spaces are permitted. Private areas are not left freely available to customers. Only guests staying at the property are allowed to use common areas and the swimming pool.


Responsibility :
The customer is responsible for all damages arising from his fault. It is required to be insured by a resort type insurance contract for these various risks.

Living environment and facilities available:
The air-conditioned rooms have quality bedding (140x200 beds), storage space and a desk. Bed linen is provided as well as bathroom linen (bath sheet, terry towel and pool towel).
The bathrooms are equipped with a vanity unit with sink and a shower. Separate WC. A hairdryer is available. The outdoor facilities, in operation during the stay, include a salt swimming pool, 6.5 x 3.5 meters, with a depth of 1.65 meters, accessible from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

If the swimming pool were to break down, the customer will not be able to claim any compensation.
The customer can park his vehicle inside the property.
The room key is given to the guest upon arrival ; it is returned at the end of the stay. If necessary, a set of keys, including the key to the lock of the entrance door to the living room, the key to the exterior gate, is made available.
The wifi internet connection is free.


Room maintenance :
Cleaning is provided every 3 days at no additional cost. Sheets are changed once a week and bathroom linen every 3 days. Out of respect for the environment, bathroom linen can be stored for several days ; simply do not place it in the shower. Daily change of linen is charged.


Animals :
For reasons of hygiene, allergies and peace of mind for guests, animals are not accepted.


Miscellaneous services :
A paid package for personal laundry washing is offered.


Use of personal information :
In application of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files and freedoms, the customer is informed that the personal information communicated is subject to computerized processing, unless opposed expressly on his part; he has a right of access, rectification or deletion from the operator at any time.


Disputes :
This contract is governed by French law. All disputes to which this contract could give rise will be submitted to the competent courts under the conditions of common law.
